Frosty Friends is a bright, hoppy, Red IPA that we brewed to celebrate our friendship with the good folks at Finley Distributing -- the people that take care of our beer in the Tucson area, deliver it to bars, restuarants and stores, and who make sure things are in code, pouring through lines that are clean & fresh. It's made from a mix of medium dark and pale crystal malts, malted oats and a touch of black malt, then hopped up with a whole pantsload of Southern Hemisphere hops -- Ella, Green Bullet and Vic Secret mostly. It's a pretty well balanced IPA -- not overly bitter, with a solid malt backbone, but positively popping with a fruity, tropical and slightly spicy hop aroma. It's great with pizza and anything dipped in ranch dressing.
