Job Summary
The Facilities Operator will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day production activities by assisting with production tasks (washing kegs, assisting packaging operators, and general cleaning), managing inventory and warehouse organization, and assisting with maintenance tasks throughout the brewery. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth in our production and facilities departments
Key Responsibilities
● Warehouse Operations:
○ Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
○ Organize and store dunnage
○ Manage inventory levels and assist with stock rotation.
○ Prepare and package products for distribution.
○ Assist with shipping of all items and products weekly.
○ Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
○Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment including assistance in cleaning of taproom, floors, bathrooms, warehouse, drive-in cold storage, and exterior areas
● Maintenance Support:
○ Assist in routine maintenance and repairs of brewery equipment.
○ Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
○ Help troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues as they arise.
○ Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
● Production Assistance:
○ Support canning line operators in pack-off as needed
○ Wash kegs (interior and exterior) as needed
○ Clean production area floors and equipment as needed
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a warehouse or maintenance role preferred.
● Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
● Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of maintenance practices.
● Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as a team.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
● Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 55 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on your feet for extended periods.
