Unihopper w/ Nelson Sauvin
DESCRIPTION
The Unihopper is our single-hopped pale ale series. As you might imagine, it's a bit of a hop-bomb--and that is exactly the point. Each time we brew the Unihopper, We use the same sturdy pale ale base as a launchpad to showcase an individual hop variety. Your taste buds have been warned. This batch features Nelson Sauvin, a hop grown and developed in New Zealand. It is known for a fruity, melony, and almost grapey aroma and flavor.
PAIRINGS
The Unihopper is a beer designed to be enjoyed on it's own, as a tool to teach your mouth about the flavors and aromas contributed by different hop varieties. Once you've got that out of the way, it's pretty versatile, pairing well with all sorts of pub food like burgers and brats or pizza and wings. It'll also work with lighter fare, like spinach salad with apples, goat cheese and honey-mustard vinaigrette.
